which I coloured using alcohol inks.
I also added plenty of die cut leaves, shaped,
and then added using silicon glue for extra dimension.
I also added a rather dramatic sentiment across the embossed panel.
Evening,
A couple of cards tonight using one of Jane's fabulous floral stamps from Woodware.
I stamped and embossed the image onto parchment paper using Versamark ink and white embossing powder.Morning,
At least that is what these cards remind me of. And that shows my age because Playschool which this saying reminds me of, is a very old British Childrens programme (circa 1964 - 1988).
I have used some handmade background papers created using spray inks and cling film for the backgrounds in all of these cards. Thanks for stopping by. I hope that it is not quite so cold today, but I think it is a vain hope. The weathermen seem to be all too correct in their predictions just lately lol.

Evening,
How did you spend your Bank Holiday? Mine was spent making several special cards for the arrival of my good friends latest Great Grandchild.
Once again I reached for my trusty LOTV images, and then tried to match them up with some bits and pieces from my stash. To be honest that is often how cards evolve for me.
I found the punched square in my stash and felt that it perfectly complimented the slightly old fashioned pram.Luca's birth was eagerly awaited by all the ladies at craft classes so we are all looking forward to our introduction.......and mandatory cuddle. Most of the ladies grandchildren have made their way to class at some point in their lives. In fact for many their progress has been monitored throughout Mum's pregnancy so we all feel rather like surrogate Grandmothers. It is so lovely to watch their progress.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi All,
Sorry I've been AWOL for the last couple of days, but with the Internet acting up, a few lines and no pictures was the best that I could manage on my phone.
We had a fabulous day on Saturday, playing with all sorts of edger dies.
This card was inspired by some of the samples that Jamie Rodgers showed on the TV a while ago, which I rewatched as part of my class prep.I'm pleased to say that I managed to get a couple of other things finished, although possibly not as much as I would have liked. Still tomorrow is another day, as the saying goes lol.
BTW don't forget to set your recorders for Jane's shows on Create and Craft tomorrow at 10.30am and 5.15pm. She will be showcasing her new Festive Fuzzy stamps which I'm sure you will love.
Thanks for stopping by.

Evening Everyone,
Here's another wreath card made using one of Jane's new Festive Bubble Stamps.
I do love the fact that this stamp works every bit as well for a birthday card as it does for Christmas. Thanks for stopping by.

Evening All,
I hope that you have escaped all the flash flooding that seems to be happening all over the place at the moment. Emma was most concerned that I get home safely last night after the heavy rain and thunder that we had had during the day. Apparently there was flooding in London, although I didn't see any signs of it.
As you know I am on a mission to use up bits and pieces from my stash, so these Altenew stamped and die cut leaves were a happy find after my class on Distress Oxides a few weeks ago.Evening,
It's Friday. I can't believe how quickly the weeks are rolling by. The only good thing with that is that we are getting nearer to being able to have a class.
My cards today were made for what turned out to be one of the last classes before lockdown in 2020. We were playing with alcohol inks which I'm sure will be amongst some of the first things that we play with as soon as we can get back to normal.
The background to the first two stamps was created on glossy card stock that was then clear embossed with a floral image.Evening All
An old crafty friend posts a weekly challenge on her Way to go Wednesday, and it is a wonderful reminder of some of the fabulous products and techniques that we have played with over the years.
This time it is Brushos, or of course you could use Pixie Powder, Colour Burst, or any of the many similar products available on the market. All of these fabulous pigment powders give a burst of colour to card stock and make the most amazing backgrounds.
I used some left over scraps for this first card.....nothing goes to waste.
