Crealies Patchwork Dies
They are fabulous for creating a stacked patchwork background to a card,
or for a single layer watercolour stamped image.
I inked the stamp and then spritzed it with a little water which had pearl mica powder added to it.

Sending Love and Hugs
Afternoon,
I'm sending Love and Hugs to my Mum and siblings today on the 21st Anniversary of the death of My Dad. I can't believe where the time has gone, it seems like only yesterday!!
The background to this card is created using a stencil and paste. It was actually the paste left on the stencil after a previous use.
It seemed much too good to waste so I lay the stencil on a piece of purple card and used a baby wipe to clean the stencil, which transferred the paste to the cardstock.
I also added a little mica spray and then some Altenew flowers and foliage which had also been coloured using layering stencils.
The second card also has a stencil and paste background,
but I was a little over generous with the paste,
so the floral design hides a multitude of sins.....and a large splodge lol.
I love this layered die cut sentiment, which I used on both cards.
So sending love and hugs to All who are having a hard time at the moment.
Thanks for stopping by, with Love and Crafty Hugs

A Happy Hello from Altenew
Evening,
Please tell me that it is going to be fairly warm tomorrow. This refit at work feels like it has been going on forever, and now they are coming to replace all the chillers...................well most of them, one isn't ready yet!! As a consequence, we have to spend tomorrow serving through the night pay hatch. Last time they were replacing something and we had to do that it was freezing, so I am hoping for an unseasonally warm day tomorrow.
I finally managed to get a card finished using one of the lovely Altenew stamp, die and stencil sets that we were playing with on Saturday. This is from the Elegant Motifs set which is part of their Craft Your Life Project Kit which I have signed up to. I found a gold die cut frame and black faux stitched panel in my stash and added the coloured panel to the corner to hide the pine branch. You can just see a little of it poking out from beneath the flower.
I added a tiny stamped and white embossed sentiment along with some pearls.

In Love with Altenew
Evening,
I hope that you are all safe and well after the terrible weather that we have been experiencing today.
We have an extra class tomorrow, where we will be playing with stamps, stencils and dies from Alternew, one of my favourite stamp companies.
They have the most fabulous layering stamps, as well as beautiful designs for straightforward colouring. Most sets now have co-ordinating dies, and they have also added stencils and embossing folders to their impressive range of equipment.
I have a rather large stash of stamp sets, in fact I have a little bit of an addiction if I am honest, so I decided to limit our choices this time to ones that have the matching stencils and dies. This is still a rather large selection lol.
These two cards tonight were made during a previous class, where we played with Altenew stamps and dies, and created our own stencils and embossing folders.
I created a stencil using this fabulous background die, and then used it with inks and brushes on the background panel.
It was too nice to waste so I added it to the main body of the card before
adding my die cut flower and leaves.
I also added a few extra die cut leaves from my stash.
Let's hope that the storm has passed by tomorrow and we can get back to normal. I am really looking forward to playing with my Crafty friends.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs Kimx

Congratulations, You Rock
Evening All,
I may not have been much cop at the gym this week, but I did manage to get in with a card for one of the instructors who has just passed her driving test.
Once again I reached for a LOTV Simply Print which I printed out two to a page.I die cut one image using a circular die, and then added the second one over the top using silicon, having first fussy cut it out.The windscreen and lights were the perfect places to add some Glossy Accents.

Celebrate with Altenew
Evening All,
Just a quick post tonight, the time has got away from me. I've been working on samples for Jane's next stamp release in September, and I keep getting drawn back in to 'finish just one more piece' lol.
This card was made a few weeks ago, when we were playing with Oxide inks in class. It also uses a fabulous Altenew stamp. It's a lovely solid image, but rather hard to photograph since I used embossing powder on it.I added a narrow stacked frame and a die cut sentiment layered over a vellum shadow.
