A host of golden daffodils for a Spring challenge at CCM

Hello All,
Another beautiful sunny day here, and another challenge over at CCM where Judy is our host for Spring.
And how appropriate on such a lovely day.
Daffodils are always a sign of Spring for me, so here is a card made with some lovely Hobby Art ones, Daffs and Bells.
I stamped, embossed and coloured the daffodils and foliage, and then added some zendoodled frames.
It is also a Mother's Day card which we celebrated yesterday in the UK.
Well, we celebrated with bum bumps and Facetime, no actual hugging which was very hard. I can't wait to be able to give my lovely Mum a really big hug, and share a cuppa and a dark chocolate stem ginger biscuit. This is our treat when I take over her shopping which of course I am not able to do at the moment.
This second card uses the same set but this time I stamped and embossed in white
and then added a couple of fussy cut flowers
and an Easter greeting.
Card number three uses another white embossed panel only this time I created a darker colour spotlight in the centre of the card.
I made this final one a birthday card.
All three of the sentiments are part of this same lovely set.
I hope that you will be able to join us over at CCM. Crafting has certainly been my savior over the last few weeks, and I'm sure that it will continue to be such during this difficult time.
Stay safe and Craft.
And a big virtual hug from me.

A Little Floral Zendoodle

Evening All,
As promised, if a little later than I would have liked, here are a few Zendoodled cards.
This started life as a Woodware stamped image,
to which I added some very basic doodles,
and then a doodled frame.
I'm afraid my Zendoodle skills are very basic.
I tend to stick to straight lines and then an added border around the stamp. Although if I remember rightly this stamp had a border on it to start with, I just filled it in.
Another Jane Gill design for Woodware. One of her Bubble Bloom stamps,
and more very basic doodling.
I did tell you that I wasn't very good at Zendoodle.
I love all the amazingly creative infilling that people manage.
While I seem to stick to nothing but the basics.
Still I had fun, and that's the main thing after all.
I managed to get over to my Mums today to do her shopping. It was heartbreaking not being able to give her a big hug, but at nearly 90 she is very definitely in the higher risk category for Covid 19.
She was shuffled round the house as my Grandson did the cleaning for her so that they were never in the same room together, and then we did the same thing when we arrived with her shopping.
I feel happier now she has some fresh fruit and veg, but can't wait to be able to treat her as normal.
Typical of my Mum she apologized for being such a nuisance......as if she was, it's the bloody lockdown that's the problem not her :O)
Anyway, I hope that you are all making the most of your enforced crafty retreats.
I'll be back tomorrow with some more to share with you.
Happy Crafting and hugs

A Little More Black and White

Evening Everyone,
It's been very cold, but lovely and bright here today. I actually went out for a short walk, it's impossible to sit and rest all of the time, and at the end of the day I will have to go back to work at some point so I would rather ease myself in gently.
We started a fabulous Black and White challenge at CCM on Monday, and as you may know I do love that particular colour combo.
This first card was one that I made for Creative Expressions for the Woodware stamps section of their catalogue.
This stamp set would lend itself to a bit of zendoodling as well as basic black and white stripes of colour.
I never quite know what I am going to create when I start making the samples, and I also try very hard to use up all of the leftover bits and pieces,
so here is a second card made with them.
I'm back home tomorrow after a lovely couple of days staying with Becki and the youngest of the Grandchildren.
Chloe has been my best buddy. I just wish I could understand her when she babbles away 19 to the dozen. I often think that we should video her so that we can play it back to her when she is older so that she can translate it for us. The trouble is you never have your phone near you when you need it do you.
Jack is such a cheeky little monster with an infectious grin. Unfortunately he has also learnt the high pitched squeal from copying his sister. I'm thinking of investing in earplugs for next time.
Its amazing how much sorting you can get done when you are having to sit and rest. I have shredded a huge bag full of paperwork that would otherwise have remained in carrier bags for another few years. I also found a couple of gift cards which are still just in date, so that was a nice surprise.
Better get to bed now before the kids wake up again.
Hugs Kimx
