On their Wedding Day

Evening Everyone,
Well this weekend went by in the blink of an eye didn't it!!
I haven't set foot outside again today so going out to work tomorrow will be a bit of a shock. I hope it isn't too cold.
This card was made for the daughter of friends who got married on Saturday.
The central image is from Lili of the Valley cut out using a Nestie, and layered onto some gold cardstock.
The white card in the background has been embossed using a folder and my Grand Calibre. I added a little Antique Linen Distress ink to make it stand out a little more.
The sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley, cut out using another Nestie.
I added flowers, pearls, a shrivelled ribbon bow, and some foliage cut out with a Penny Black die that I bought on my trip to SirStampalot.
It's a good job that I can hand deliver this as I didn't have and cardstock big enough to make a box lol.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wishing you a Speedy Recovery

Evening everyone,
I have had to make a couple of Get well cards recently.
This one is for the Dad of a close friend who had a nasty fall down the stairs and is still in hospital.
I raided my 'Bits Box' and found this lovely floral panel made with one of my favourite Penny Black stamps, distress inks and glimmer mists.
I made it quite some time ago, so I won't even try and remember what colours I used.
The sentiment is from an Imagination Thinking of You stamp set.
The purple background panel has been stamped with both inks and thin undiluted bleach using an Artemio stamp set. I then ran the entire thing through my Grand Caliber inside a new M-Bossabilities Folder 'Dainty Dots'.
I also added some gems to the main panel. Well, even a man can have a little bling to cheer him up don't you think.
Let's hope that there is a bit of sunshine tomorrow which I'm sure would help as well.
Thanks for stopping by, it really is appreciated.

Let's be Royal at Our Creative Corner

Morning All
I hope that you are well and looking forward to a great weekend.
As those of you that are regular visitors to my little world will know I won the Recycle It challenge over at Our Creative Corner a few weeks ago.
My prize is to be guest designer this week where the challenge is Let's be Royal.
As usual there is a picture for you to be inspired by, and a few other requirements.
- Create a card or project with a royal look using a crown, castle or a princess.
- Use the photo to inspire you.
- Your project must have something yellow or gold embossed.
- Most of all have fun!

I searched through my stamps for something suitable to use, and once again I was inspired by a lovely Magnolia stamp available from SirStampalot Princess Welcome Tilda.
I coloured her using Distress inks Scattered Straw and Mustard Seed.
I fussy cut Princess Tilda ready to add her to the finished card.
The very regal shield which I trimmed and mounted onto gold card stock is by Stampendous as is the floral stamp that I used in the background.
I ran the main background panel through my Grand Caliber using an embossing folder on the left hand side only.
Princess Tilda was shaped and then added using Silicon.
I also added some tiny pearls.
I hope you like my efforts and that you will pop across and check out all the other wonderful creations that the Team have come up with, there are some truly talented Ladies on the team so I feel very honoured to be allowed to join them this time.
Have a great day.
Happy Crafting
