Clean and Simple

Evening Everyone,
Thursday again, and once again 8pm crept up on me before I knew it.
My card tonight was made for Creative Expressions using one of Jane Gills lovely floral designs.
Now I don't usually do CAS cards, I'm a bit wary of white spaces. I love what other people do, the less is more look. Some how I never seem to be able to leave well alone, so I was really pleased with this card.
I created a narrow stamped, embossed and coloured panel to add to my square card after matting and layering it onto coordinating blue card stock.
I added a dry embossed panel to the base card, and then the coloured panel, that is it, job done.
Thanks for stopping by.
Stay safe

Summer Weeds

Evening Everyone,
Another weekend, it will be Christmas again before we know it lol.
It is my first class of the New Year at Davina's tomorrow and we will be playing with White Embossed Resist and some of the wonderful new stamps from Woodware.
Whenever I am lucky enough to receive a parcel of new stamps for samples there are always certain ones that leap out and say play with me first lol.
This is one such stamp set JGS330 Summer Weeds Flower Heads.
I stamped and embossed the image a couple of times down the right hand side of a piece of white card stock. After adding some masking tape I sponged the panel with Kaleidacolor Dye Based inks.
I stamped the image again using the dye based ink after the masking tape had been removed.
The stamped greeting is also a new Woodware stamp JGS901 Birthday Textbox.
This is very CAS for me don't you think.
Have a great weekend, and happy crafting.

A Clean and Simple Birdhouse

Evening Everyone,
Did you get your monthly fix of creative inspiration this morning?
Were you watching Barbara 'In the Classroom'?
I love to see what she comes up with every month, it's always so different from the things that I make with her stamps. But then I suppose that is why you have a Design Team isn't it, to show you that there are so many different things that you can do with the same set of ingredients.
Any way I thought that I would share another card with you that uses the Birdhouse stamp, as featured in the show today, but one that didn't get sent to Barbara.
This is particularly CAS for me, just stamped and heat embossed onto white card stock.
I added some hand drawn lines and dots with a fine black Micron pen.
I ran the stamped panel through my Cuttlebug using an Embossing folder to add a little texture and then mounted it onto co-ordinating card stock for the fine green border before mounting it onto a white card.
I'm looking forward to another dose of creativity tomorrow when Barbara is back at 9-11am and then again at 2-3pm.
I'll see you there.

Just a quick Hello

Evening Everyone
Just a very quick post to share another of the cards that made their way into the pillar box this week.
It was made using a very old Hero Arts stamp, more bleach and some inks.
Very simple, but I really like it. Probably as near as I have got to 'Clean and Simple' in a long time.
Have a good weekend.
