A Wonderful Weekend (photos added)

Evening everyone 

I hope that you have had a wonderful weekend. Mine has come to an end after a day filled with lots of time with the littlies.

We started by doing some painting. 

The Girls started making mermaids at the beginning of lockdown, but painting them has always taken a back seat to other things so today we finally crossed them off the list. 

Mummy will have to fix the bits together once they have dried but they had great fun getting messy, including Jack who had a box to paint so he didn't feel left out.

Daddy had given Emma some money to get us a treat at Costa when we went to the village to do the shopping, 

so we sat in the park and had our hot chocolate and cake before they burnt off some energy running around.

When we got home Mummy had managed to finish the reading den in the cupboard in Emma's room.  It's amazing how much space you can free up when you put things up into the loft.

After dinner and baths I left them all sleeping to catch the train and see all the lovely Christmas lights as I walked to the station.

Some people have really gone all out this year.
