Evening All,
Well that isn't quite how I had planned to start my weekend, with a possible trip to A&E!!
It is always a bit of a rush to get to the station for my weekend journey to babysit the 'Littlies'. NOTE TO SELF - maybe buy the ticket the night before so that you rush less and don't fall over and end up in a rather undignified heap............right opposite the pub!!
I had landed rather hard on my hands and knees with my rucksack pitched over my head, when a man rushed across the road to see if I was OK, and having helped me to my feet insisted on escorting me to the station. Who said that the age of chivalry is dead.
I did feel a fool and am now sporting a rather large graze on my knee and am looking at a possible trip to A&E if my wrist doesn't get any better.
Fortunately it is my left wrist so I can function reasonably well, although you don't realize just how much you do with your non dominant hand, until you can't. Going to the loo has been a little challenging lol.
And just when I thought that we could start to get back to normal. Still it won't stop me. We will have that class next weekend, come hell or high water.
Here are a couple more cards to highlight another of the classes in our first schedule, and what a rather appropriate sentiment :O)We will be playing with Distress Oxide inks and creating mop up backgrounds with them.
I can see that this will be the first of many classes, as there are just so many things that you can do with them. Way too many to explore in just one sitting.
The backgrounds were created by spritzing water on to Distress Oxide inks left on my craft mat and then smooshing a piece of card through it.
Dry, and then repeat the process until you are happy with your background.
I do hope your wrist is soon better.
