Evening,
One of the many techniques that we played with in class last year (prelockdown that is) was 'Bump and Smudge'.
It is a fabulously easy way to create a piece of background.Ink your image with Distress Oxide ink, stamp (bump) it on to a piece of cardstock and then 'smudge' it with a piece of cut'n'dry foam. If you allow the ink to dry for too long before smudging it the effect is very subtle.
For the background on this card I spritz the used stamp with a little water and stamped it onto a piece of cardstock before cleaning it properly. I then added some more stamped images.
The background is definitely very subtle. I added some fussy cut stamped and coloured images and a die cut sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by.
