Cheeky Monkeys

Evening Everyone.
Well I am pleased to say that the ongoing saga of Sky TV seems finally to have been resolved and I am no longer sleeping on the floor. Thank goodness for that as my back is killing me lol.
Anyway this is a card that I have made for a friend whose identical twin boys will be One on 7th August. He jokes that he must be the only Dad that can easily remember when his kids were born, although as he pointed out it isn't difficult as it was the 7th of the 8th of the 9th lol.
I've seen pictures of the boys and I think that the card fits them to a tee given that my first comment was 'I bet they are a right cheeky pair!'
I have used the Woodware stamp set FRCL127 Jungle Pals and a sketch that I found over at Sketch Saturday. Unfortunately I lost track of the days and was too late to enter the challenge, but its a great place for ideas anyway.
I don't know how you guys keep track of where you have entered your cards, or when the challenges run until, so I have made myself a spreadsheet that I can consult - how sad am I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought I might enter it into Joy's Recipe challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers.
Her recipe calls for the use of the colour yellow, a sticker and an animal so I think it fits although I'm not sure that it is quite yellow enough lol.
Anyway I had fun making it and that's what counts isn't it.
I've finished all the cards for Barbara which I will need to deliver tomorrow and so now I must start on my card for the Make and Take at The Eternal Maker 3rd birthday bash on Saturday.
Boy I must have been bad in a past life as there is definitely no rest for the wicked lol.
Did you get that torrential rain earlier? The road outside our house looked like a river, so everywhere is too wet for me to take pictures tonight. Its a good job I had some cards in reserve.
Have a good evening.
Love and hugs

  3. Hi Kim, I love your cheeky monkey card and I am sure your friend will too.

You are not the only saddo around. I write down a list of all challenges that a particular card is entered into and then when I check back to discover I didn't win (the usual outcome, lol) I cross through them. Some challenges announce before the next challenge post goes up, some a week or even longer later. If I didn't write them down I would lose my place. If I could do a spreadsheet I would do that, but I am too old to be learning a new trick like that.

Thanks for joining in with our Recipe Challenge at Crafty Cardmakers.

    Lin xx

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a message, it is always greatly appreciated. I will try and get back to you as soon as possible if you have a query
