Sketch Saturday and a new baby girl
Evening everyone,
In amongst all of the Christmas cards that I have made just lately there was also a card for a new baby girl.
I made it using the sketch over at Sketch Saturday, and then I didn't get it posted in time, or so I thought.
In fact there was a bit of a mix up on the blog, I think we are all entitled to a blond moment now and then, and the challenge has run for another week so I will get to enter it after all even if it is by the skin of my teeth lol.
I have used another of the lovely Lili of the Valley pre-coloured images mounted over background papers from my stash. The greeting is also from Lili of the Valley.
I added some stitched lines, ribbon, peel-off lines and faux card candy made from some of the background paper.
The image itself has been mounted over a panel cut using a Marianne Creatable Designer Doily.
I have more cards to share tomorrow, and more cards to make for Barbara's next TV show so I had better get back to work.
Have a good evening.

Oooh, these colours work wonderfully together. I love the braided ribbon too. Thanks for playing at Sketch Saturday. x
ReplyDeleteOh how adorable is this card! And aren't those LotV pre-coloured images soooo useful?!
ReplyDeleteI hope you and yours have a very happy Hogmanay and a great 2012!

Hello, Thank you for taking part in our Sketch Saturday challenge.
ReplyDeleteI already chose a winner for the challenge, this was a genuine mistake. I'm sorry about that.
By way of an apology I have decided to give another prize. All entrants from #61 onwards will be entered twice.
ALSO you can receive a FREE download from my other blog Jobo Designs.
Please read the post on Sketch Saturday for details of how to choose one (if you want to)
