I do love my inks and backgrounds as I expect most of you know. I have been having another wonderful day of play at Sir Stampalot only this time I have been playing with copic pens.
Sorry Anna, but I haven't been using them to colour in so maybe it won't count. I promised my friend Anna that I wouldn't get in to copics, but I didn't promise not to try them out.
I caught a tutorial on using copics direct on your stamps and this seemed much more me so I thought I would give it a try using Janice's pens.

The panel that it is layered over has been created using alcohol inks with a Hero Arts stamp white embossed over the top.
Both cards are completed using cuttlebugged paper and card. Pearls, brads and ribbon are the perfect final embellishments.
I hope you like the cards I certainly enjoyed making them.
Must get to bed now as I have my Metal Embossing classes tomorrow (Thursday).
Night night

Both cards are beautiful! I just love the colours, and the effect of using the Copics direct-to-stamp. Must try it with my Promarkers.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, it was lovely to see you this morning. Your cards are beautiful & even better in real life. Have a safe journey home - take care

Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely cards. Though I have plenty of Copics I've not been brave enough to use them directly onto my stamps yet. Effect looks really cool. Great cuttlebugged backgrounds.
Hugs, Pauline x
That's gorgeous Kim, lovely effect :). Love the way you've displayed it with the nestie and distress ink. Hmmm now I wonder where my love of ink and backgrounds came from!
ReplyDeleteI remember a llong time ago thinking I wouldn't ever get into stamping.... Then I wouldn't get into copics (ok I went for promarkers instead!) And my latest is I won't get into martha stewart punches, I haven't yet but am getting weaker!
