Evening Everyone,
I hope that you have had a good weekend.
I have managed to get a couple of things finished, including some Thank You cards which are ready to go in the post box tomorrow............ and it's still January so that is pretty amazing lol.
We played with some of the fabulous new 3D embossing folders recently, and they just seemed to lead quite nicely to a series of cards that I thought would make rather nice Thank You gifts.
The most difficult part of the whole proceedings was actually tracking down some small calenders. I found plenty for 2017. Who on earth is going to buy a 2017 calender pad in December of that very year!!!!
I used a combination of dual core card stock, distress inks, letterpress technique and gilding wax. And a few well placed gems.
Letterpress technique with added ink and gilding wax..
Dual core card stock sanded. Extra sponged ink and gilding wax.
Letterpress technique, added ink and gilding wax.
Letterpress technique, added ink and gilding wax.
Letter press technique onto a piece of mop up background.
Coloured card and gilding wax along with a post it note pad and a floral embellishment.
Dual core card stock sanded back with gilding wax added.
Coloured card and gilding wax.
Sorry for the rather picture heavy post but as you can see I just love, love, love this folder.
Hugs Kimx
