13 going on 30 :O)

Evening Everyone
I've been a busy girl again, or at least I was before this cold kicked in big time.
My eldest Granddaughter will be 13 this year so we seem to have started the round of teenage parties.
Her Dad is starting to freak out, I think we might have to sedate him before she leaves for the party on Saturday since she is looking so grown up.
I can see Rapunzel's tower might be in line for a new tenant lol.
She asked me to make a card for her friend, and as she wanted something with makeup or shoes I thought of this little pre-coloured image from Lili of the Valley.
I cut her out using Nestabilities Labels Three, and added some Antique Linen Distress ink around the edges with the die still in place.
Added some sparkle with a stardust pen, Glossy Accents to the mirror and tiny pearls to the necklace.
The background papers are from my stash and the sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley.
I made the flowers from some of the background paper using an assortment of punches.
I used the sketch over at Friday Sketch Challenge as inspiration for my layout, but once again I am too late to enter.
Never mind I will still enter it into the Anything Goes challenge over at Inkspirational.
Wow, I've just noticed that I won one of the Top 5 spots for Challenge no 4, how cool is that.
I had better get to bed now. We have another early start tomorrow as my daughter and I have to attend a First Aid course for the Childminding, so there won't be much crafting time to be had.
I hope you have a great weekend.

  3. What a great layout on this card, with a lovely choice of patterns and colours ;the darker colours give it a slightly more grown up edge for the young teens you mention!
