Hello All
We have a new Go Green challenge over at CraftyCardmakers and I have chosen to share a card that I made for Jane Gill's last TV performance.
The stamp set that I have used as the focal point for my card is JGS576 Decorative Bee, and you can see there was lots of fussy cutting involved.
I stamped and embossed the bee on to white card, and then sponged it with Bundled Sage Oxide and Distress inks before cutting it out.
There is a lovely leafy sprig as part of the set, so I stamped and embossed it several times, coloured it with Distress Ink, and then did plenty more fussy cutting.
I felt that it needed some flowers, so I used one from another of the stamp sets from the show JGB002 Great Big Bunch.
I created my own banner from coordinating background paper, and then added all the fussy cut elements using silicon to give it added depth.
Another of the sets from the show is JGS574 Madison Girl, so here is a rather green card that I made using her. She has been stamped and embossed onto a piece of Mop up background and then coloured using Distress inks.
I rather like that the bottom half of the stamp looks like a tag, so I suggested to Jane that she could cut her head off and use some of the additional floral elements from the set to hide that the top of the tag is not symmetrical. I didn't get the chance to make the card itself, but I believe that Jane spoke of my idea on her TV show lol.
Better get on with some commenting, before the rest of the team think that I have deserted them.
Happy Crafting and hugs.
Kimx
