Happy Valentines Day

Evening Everyone,
Hope you have had a wonderful Day today and are being thoroughly spoilt.
I can't believe how many cards and bunches of flowers we have sold at work today.
This is the card that I spent so much of Sunday creating. Lorraine said that her Hubby liked elephants so this little cutie sprang immediately to mind. Penny Black 2892K Embrace.
He has been coloured using distress inks Gelly Roll glaze pens. (Scribble the ink onto a craft sheet and then use a water brush to paint with it)
I cut him out using a nestie and then added some sponged distress ink and a stitching with a fine black pen.
I've used an embossing folder and sanding block on the gold card stock.
While I was looking for the Elephant I found this lovely Penny Black Hen 2552J Chain of Hearts, another virgin stamp lol. I rather like her flying in with all of those hearts.
The background papers are from my stash, and once again I have used my favourite DooHickeys.
I was even a good girl and embellished the envelope.
I have just about managed to catch up with my commenting on the Crafty Cardmakers challenge blog, although by the time I look again there will probably have been another 20 entries and I will be back to square one lol.
Have a good evening, enjoy, and have a very Happy Valentines Day.

  1. So fab, so much detail, just gorgeous :)

  2. While the elephant is very cute the little chicken is what makes the card for me I think he's fab!

  3. I feel sure the recipient of this card will treasure it forever. x

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a message, it is always greatly appreciated. I will try and get back to you as soon as possible if you have a query
