What a chaotic few days

Hi All,
Well that didn't last long did it, although in my defence I did have a rather chaotic day on Thursday which ended with waiting for a non emergency ambulance to assess whether or not my eldest daughter needed to be taken to hospital.
Her back went and we were unable to even get her up off the chair without her screaming out in agony. No matter how old they get it is always horrible to see your children in pain.
There was a little light relief in the proceedings when we were chatting to the paramedic and discovered that our children had attended the same secondary school. Not only that, my daughter had a huge crush on her son..........what a small world it is.
Although Friday and the weekend were a little less fraught, the pain killers are starting to kick in for my daughter, and she didn't end up in hospital, and we had a nice relaxing chalks class on Saturday, my weekend ended with a rather unexpected night shift.
Fortunately I was kept fairly busy with all of the cooking for the Wild Bean Cafe, despite Boss's assurances that the oven was broken so there would be very little for me to do.
I have to admit that I am really rather glad that they had fixed it so that I could keep myself busy.  I hadn't been tired enough to sleep before I came on shift, and I haven't been able to sleep very much when I got home this morning so it is going to be a difficult couple of days especially as I have just agreed to do it all again tonight as the person that I was covering is still off sick.
I think that I had better try and get my head down for a couple of hours or I am going to be a bit of a zombie by midnight.
So bye for now, I will try and post something craft related later, if I get a chance.
